Your privacy matters. Here's exactly what we collect — and what we don't.

Short version: MyVideoCity does not collect, store, or sell your personal data. We don't require an account, we don't log video URLs you paste, and we don't track what you download.

1. Information We Collect

MyVideoCity does not require registration or login. When you use our service, you paste a video URL into the input field. We do not store or log this URL beyond the duration of a single request.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

Like most web services, our hosting infrastructure may collect standard server logs, which may include:

  • IP address (anonymised or retained only as required by law)
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referring URL
  • Date and time of request
  • Pages accessed

These logs are used solely for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and aggregate traffic analytics. They are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

2. Cookies

Any information collected is used exclusively to:

  • Deliver the video download service you requested
  • Prevent abuse, spam, and rate-limit misuse
  • Monitor and improve service performance and security

MyVideoCity may use the following third-party services, each subject to their own privacy policies:

  • Hosting provider — processes requests on our behalf; bound by data processing agreements.
  • Content Delivery Network (CDN) — may log IPs for security and performance; no personal data shared.
  • Flag icons (flagcdn.com) — loaded via external request; no personal data transmitted beyond standard HTTP headers.
  • Google Fonts — loaded for typography; Google may log your IP per their privacy policy.
  • Font Awesome CDN — icon assets; standard HTTP request logs apply.

We do not embed advertising networks, social media pixels, or analytics platforms that profile users.

5. International Data Transfers

If you access MyVideoCity from outside the country where our servers are hosted, your request data may be transferred internationally. By using the service you consent to such transfers for the purpose of delivering the service.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including:

  • The right to access personal data we hold about you
  • The right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
  • The right to restriction of processing
  • The right to data portability
