1. Acceptance of Terms

By using MyVideoCity (referred to as "the Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you're agreeing to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and MyVideoCity.

2. What the Service Does

MyVideoCity is a web-based tool that helps users retrieve publicly accessible video links from supported platforms - including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), Reddit, and Vimeo. We work as a technical go-between: we don't host, store, or distribute any of the actual video content ourselves. The videos live on those platforms - we just help you get a direct link to what's already publicly available.

3. Who Can Use It

You need to be at least 13 years old to use MyVideoCity. If your country requires a higher minimum age for online services, please follow your local law. By using the Service, you're confirming you meet the age requirement.

4. What You Can Use It For

MyVideoCity is built for personal, non-commercial use. Specifically, that means:

• Downloading your own videos for personal backup.
• Saving content that's published under Creative Commons or other licences that explicitly allow downloading.
• Downloading content where you have clear permission from the rights-holder.

5. What You Cannot Use It For

Please don't use MyVideoCity to:

• Download content that you don't have permission to save, especially copyrighted material.
• Redistribute, resell, broadcast, or publish downloaded videos in any commercial context.
• Violate the Terms of Service of the platform the video is hosted on.
• Circumvent any digital rights management (DRM) protection.
• Run automated scripts, bots, or scrapers against our service.
• Do anything that breaks applicable local, national, or international law.
• Download or share content that involves illegal material of any kind, including child exploitation material.

6. Copyright & Ownership

MyVideoCity doesn't own any of the videos retrieved through the Service - they belong to their original creators and rights-holders. Our own code, design, and branding are ours and are protected under applicable intellectual property law.

If you download someone else's video, it's on you to make sure you're legally entitled to do so and that your use complies with both the originating platform's rules and copyright law.

7. No Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" - we make no guarantees that it'll be error-free, always available, or that every video format will work for every link. Social platforms change their APIs regularly, which can temporarily break certain features.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, MyVideoCity and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability in any situation is capped at USD $10.

9. Indemnification

If your use of MyVideoCity causes legal trouble - whether from violating these Terms, infringing someone's copyright, or anything else - you agree to cover any costs, claims, or legal fees that result from your actions. We built this tool in good faith; please use it that way.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you've accepted the updated Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate anyone's access to the Service at any time, for any reason - especially for abuse or violations of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes should first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If that fails, disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts or through binding arbitration.
